    Warranties
    Warranties cover parts and workmanship provided by Printhead Specialists. Repair warranties are void if the items are altered by anyone other than PrintHead Specialists. All warranties become effective on the invoice date.

    Printhead Warranty: Three to six months depending on style.

    Pricing
    Repair prices are at a flat rate and include most parts and labor required to complete your order. All prices, terms and availability subject to change without notice. Call for volume pricing.

    Additional charges
    There may be additional charges for extra parts on repair orders. A 15% restocking fee, plus shipping will be charged for all returned products. You will be contacted to authorize any additional charges.

    Turnaround
    Printheads usually take 1-5 days, depending on model and volume. Ask for current lead times when ordering.

    Serial Numbers
    Some repairs require swapping components that contain the part's serial number, or sometimes this number comes off during cleaning. You may not receive the same serial number back after repair of your printhead.

    Non-repairables
    Printhead Specialists reserves the right to reject any items that are excessively damaged or replacement parts are unavailable.

    Expediting
    Some orders can be repaired in 24 hours. We pride ourselves in that we do not charge extra for expediting orders to our customers who need 24 hour turn around time.Call to see if your order qualifies.

    Shipping Information
    Printheads are returned UPS ground unless otherwise specified. Next day air and 2 day air are available. Guaranteed overnight service is also available.

    Payment Terms
    All orders have terms of Net 30 unless determined in advance with our Accounts Receivable Department.

    Helpful Hints and Printhead Advice

    Making sure your printheads arrive at PrintHead Specialists safely.

    Correct packing will help insure that your printheads reach us without further damage. Wrap each printhead with a protective material such as bubble wrap, especially those heads with attached cables. Use a sturdy shipping box

    What to do if you have a problem with your newly refurbished printhead.

    PrintHead Specialists has a very low out-of-box failure rate. The problem could be in the adjustment of your printer, the printhead installation or shipping damage. Please call and ask to speak to a tech. We may be able to help solve the problem over the phone.

    Identifying your printhead

    Use the manufacturer model number for identifying printheads. The model number is found on the dataplate on the back of the printer

    Correcting bad print Quality

    Correct gapping is important for print quality as well as the life of your printhead. If print smudges, it’s usually an indication that the gap or copy control lever is adjusted to far forward. Follow the gap adjustment instructions found in your printer manual.
